Storytelling: Confessions Of A Dangerous Deer With Megan Rippey
Actor/dancer/writer/performer Megan Rippey discusses pole dancing, skinny dipping, tipping etiquette and leporidae reproductive cycles. That’s right. It’s one of the sexy episodes.
We sat down with actor/dancer/writer/performer Megan Rippey as she was in the process of moving her solo show Deer Woman from the showcase stage of The Whitefire Theatre to The Fringe Festival circuit. Having gotten the nuts-n-bolts perspective of directing the show from Valerie Hager, we were thrilled for the chance to find out how the play was written and, of course, which parts were true, which were lensed truth and which were fabricated. The story of the origins of Deer Woman turns out to be one that spans her entire life (up until now at least). Along the way, we get into her work as an exotic dancer, her time as a student earning her MFA and the ingredients that had to come together to make Deer Woman possible. As always, thank you for listening!

Acting: The Yes. No. Maybe. Extravaganza Episode With Raymond-Kym Suttle and Al LaFleur
The (very far) off-Broadway play Yes. No. Maybe. Is currently running at The Hollywood Fringe Festival and we’ve got the writer-producer-star and star-just-star on today’s episode.
Hyphenates are always welcome on The Hollywood Fishbowl. So it’s with great joy that we welcome writer-director-star Raymond-Kym Suttle who’s joining us to talk about his play Yes. No. Maybe. which is currently playing at The Hollywood Fringe Festival. Not only that, our guest brought a guest! Raymond is joined by co-star Al LaFleur. We all chop it up about directing, acting producing and the complexities of successfully executing Fringe Fest show. When we finally get to The Fishbowl, we pull questions about favorite sexual positions and shower songs (courtesy of comedian @elizabethmcirvin), must-watch movies (clothing designer @crftbymaki) and a warm invitation to relive your shame (producer @deer_jacquie).

Potpourri: Jody Clark Knows A Bit About Self Defense
Jody Clark is from Lancaster, which is not a bad place to be from if you enjoy background work. Between shorts and features, background, bit and lead, Jody has seen and done it all on screen and shares those stories with us (and YOU!).
Jody and Jesse have both spent time filming in Lancaster. Jody has been at it a bit longer so he has more good stories than Jesse. But, that’s OK. It’s not a competition. Right? RIGHT? Jody also shares his interest in consumer defense goods with Jesse, who is a stranger to any types of weapons. And, of course, the world-famous Hollywood Fishbowl! WARNING: This episode has the most name drops of any so far. Enjoy picking them up!
