Burlesque: Lili VonSchtupp Is An Empathetic Encyclopedia
Lili VonSchtupp has a lifetime of knowledge on Burlesque and she is only happy to share it. From how Burlesque evolved over the last century straight through the basics of tassel twirling, Lili reveals herself to be something of an empathetic encyclopedia with a penchant for naughty puns.
Lili is precisely the kind of person you want speaking on the history of Burlesque. That’s not just because she knows it but because she loves it and that love is infectious. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself imagining what your own Burlesque routine would look like before the episode is out, which begs the question - what would your Burlesque routine look like? Ryan Shukis, you’re safe in this episode. Thanos, however, you are on blast.

Burlesque: Kirby LaBrea Was In Bye Bye Birdie
Kirby LaBrea is a bit of a rarity - a boylesquer making his mark on the LA scene. While the biggest LaBrea fireworks are his dance moves, there’s massive fun to be had in this audio-only experience. Also, we sing. Twice.
Kirby LaBrea opens up on this episode and the range of topics is broad to say the least. From tear-away pants to ancestral slavery, we cover the gamut. Kirby has walked a winding road to the stage, the result of a late-in-life discovery of his passion for performance, despite both parents working in the creative arts. Once we get through the preliminary discussion, we ring the bell. A lot. Solutions! Mansplanations! O-Sounds! All that and much (MUCH!) more!
Burlesque: Vixen DeVille Kills The Geordie Accent
Fire eating. Glass walking. Stage magic. Burlesque. Vixen DeVille does all these things and talks about them on this episode. To be clear, she is a fire eating, glass walking, stage magicking burlesque performer. So, you know. Listen.
Vixen has always existed on the fringe. From an early childhood tragedy through the awkward high school years, there wasn’t a script that seemed to fit Vixen proper. That is, until she discovered the world theatre. That’s when the stage magic, fire eating, glass walking and burlesque kicked off. Then the European tour and then the trip to America and then... Well, that would be telling wouldn’t it? If you’re keen to know the full story, push that play button, why-doncha!
Background Actors: Kimberly Liermann Is An Entire Blues Outfit
Humble beginnings! Who would have guessed when we recorded this pilot episode with Kimberly Liermann that Hollywood Fishbowl would grow into the mighty oak that it is today?
Sometimes, you have to look back to look forward and we’re doing just that! Kimberly was out first victim... errr, volunteer and this is the episode where-in we stumble on tons of rough edges regarding the format. The episode is mostly hits, on account of Kimberly’s sharp wit and game approach to life. The misses are courtesy of Jesse, who completely botches the setup for Guest Host. Also, he talks too much. It’s a learning process, but when learning is this much fun, it pays to be dumb!
Background Actors: Anna Jensen Taylor Is An Open Book
You don’t know where this episode is headed. Trust me. Just when you think you’ve got Anna pegged, she hits you with another sucker punch.
Anna is not your average... anything, really. From her early days in an authoritarian Jewish upbringing to her years as a behavioral science major in school to her time as a nude house keeper. Anna has contended with addiction, sobriety and toxic relationships, be they romantic or familial. How does she describe herself now? As a g-rated hobo. Truth be told, this interview bears that out.
Once we turn to the fishbowl, we pull out Solutions, Jokes (Huzzah!) & The Sexiest Thing!
Also... Moon Child. the Princess’ name in Neverending Story is Moon Child.
Background Actors: Morgan Hill Needs No Safety Net
What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than by recording an episode of The Hollywood Fishbowl with Morgan Hill, a bonafide mother, daughter, actor and human!
Coming from Utah (by way of Las Vegas), Morgan swims loud and proud in The Hollywood Fishbowl. We get into those big boggling life questions about childhood, motherhood, life, death and all those nameless delights in between. Don’t worry; it all stays very light and breezy throughout. When we finally get to the fishbowl, we pull some doozies. Cards include (but are not limited to) Jokes, NDA, Tales From Holding and a new one, Speak German. Suffice to say, I am very happy Speak German is in that fishbowl.

Background Actors: Ryan Shukis Is Not Scary
From Upstate New York all the way to LA and the boy still has a glimmer in his eye! How does he do it? Find out in the premiere episode of Hollywood Fishbowl!
Ryan Shukis is not a scary dude. Not by a long shot. He's kind, goofy and a gentleman to be sure, but scary seems to elude him. Ryan's story begins in upstate New York and then weaves and bobs its way through New Jersey, The Big Apple, trailer editing and playing a dweeb on stage. Also, car auctions? Yeah... car auctions. Or something like that. Then, the wheels come off as we turn to the Hollywood Fishbowl and pull DEADlines, Guest Host & Knew Knowns.
