It’s the final interview of 2019 and we’re going out with a bang. Simone Turkington is a magician and an aesthete and we were thrilled to have both of her on the program. While the main focus of this conversation is magic and how she kicked off her career (and kept it growing), we also get into her overarching aesthetic, how she came into it and how it informs her work as an LA artist. Of course, life is so much more than work and art. It’s also travel, family and 60’s tiki and we touch all of those bases as well. When we turn to The Fishbowl, we do something unprecedented in the history of the show - we empty it.
