Swinky Got Her Visa!!!
There was a visa and Swinky got it. Boom!
It’s the end of an era on The Hollywood Fishbowl - The era was a much-despis’d one, primarily defined by there being no Swinky in America or on The Hollywood Fishbowl. How Swinky got here is not a story quickly told. So, we tell it slowly. Once we’ve covered all of that, we turn to The Fishbowl and pull questions on early childhood memories (@whostheross), horror movies (@bentrandem), and rhetoric philosophy (@rksuttle). As always, thank you for listening!

Derek Smith, also known as Cereal Man, was there from the beginning at Wrestling Pro Wrestling. Now, he’s on The Fishbowl.
The deep-dive dialog into the world of comedy wrestling continues in this conversation with Derek Smith, who performs as Cereal Man (among other characters). Cereal Man can be seen monthly at Wrestling Pro Wrestling and always as a background player in the John Travolta/Fred Durst hit drama “The Fanatic”. Wrestling: Ben Trandem Takes Over The Hollywood Fishbowl
In which Jesse relinquishes control of the program and Ben Trandem takes over.
When Ben Trandem takes over, pop culture takes over. The two talk wrestling a little and horror a lot including trading Lloyd Kaufman stories (because what else would they do at this point?). When the two turn to The Fishbowl, they pull dichotomous classification (Nutschell Windsor), favorite actor (Chris Grace), and porn porn porn (Miss Spent Youth). As always, thanks for listening!

Indie Musicians: Tony Glaser Is The Love Doctor
Host Jesse needs help with an incoming wife... STAT! And Love Doctor Tony Glaser is just the prescription that the doctor ordered to be filled by the doctor of love!
Bass player, singer and man about town Tony Glaser has just completed one year of Morning Bass Lines, a new single and a cracking music video. How does he celebrate? By coming on The Fishbowl, of course! We chuck it all down, from love to art to music to cooking and then we build it all back up. When we turn to the bowl for questions, we pull an @iamkatefaust classic about Seal, a question about compromised morals from @rksuttle and one from @charlesjensen about friendly betrayals. Elizabeth takes over The Hollywood Fishbowl and introduces the strangest game of 2 Truths And A Lie ever played. After that, we turn to The Fishbowl and pull questions from @whostheross (who’s your first celebrity crush), @ms.spentyouth (how do you seduce), our guest herself (what’s your go-to shower song) and a very special final appearance of “Baby Writers” from Hilliard Guess. We sat down with Elizabeth McIrvin, improvisational comedian and host of Mystery On The Radio Waves, to talk about her arrival in LA, producing podcasts and, because we’re in LA, weed.
We sat down with Elizabeth McIrvin, improvisational comedian and host of Mystery On The Radio Waves, to talk about her arrival in LA, producing podcasts and, because we’re in LA, weed. Her show, Mystery In The Radio waves is a diptych podcast (not unlike this one) with half being the performance of an old radio play and half being an improv deconstruction of that play. If you’d like to hear what that sounds like, bust on over and listen to her show! If you want to listen to her program without getting too disoriented, listen to the episode that I was on. As always, thanks for listening... to everything!

Journalism: Zon D’Amour Loves Tea, Turns It Down
From The Shadows of the Archives, Zon D’Amour strikes without warning, leaving not but insight in her wake!
We welcomed Zon D’Amour to The Hollywood Fishbowl ages ago, at the start of a journalism series that was harder to book than expected. We’re releasing this episode now. Why? Because it’s good and Zon emailed saying “what ever happened to that episode?” We cover a lot of ground that was relevant then (Black Panther) and even more that’s relevant now (everything else on the episode). When we get to The Fishbowl, we pull and skip unwanted medical advancements but take the time to answer questions on autobiography titles, moments of bad friendship, and the three items you’d take to an island.
